Sodium Chloride (Refined Industrial Salt)
CAS:7647-14-5
Molecular Weight:58.44
Molecular Formula:NaCl
Usage:
1. Soda ash and other raw materials commonly used in dye production are directly produced from salt, and a certain amount of salt is used in almost every step in the dye production process;
2. Used as a chlorinated roasting agent and quenching agent in metallurgy, as well as a desulfurizer and clarifying agent for metal ores;
3. When casting, it can be used as an excellent binder for non-ferrous metal and alloy casting medium sand;
4. When producing soap, the action of sodium ions in the salt can reduce the viscosity of the saponified liquid so that the saponified reaction can proceed normally;
5. During the storage and transportation of raw animal skins required for tanning, salt drying and salting method are commonly used for antiseptic treatment.
